Amy started in the veterinary profession as a teenager, then went into construction. When construction fell off in 2006, she returned to the veterinary field. She started in kennels and worked her way up to the veterinary assistant position she holds now. One of Amy’s favorite aspects of working at our clinic is helping our patients feel safe and secure. She also likes learning all the different ways of taking care of patients and assisting our clients.

Amy and her husband of 35+ years have a daughter and, as of early 2024, a grandson. Their family also consists of many animals, including 3 Catahoulas named George, Gracie, and Merk, 2 house cats (Willie and Suzie) and 5 barn cats, 2 horses,18 chickens, and the occasional orphaned calf! When she isn’t working or loving on her animals, Amy can be found enjoying the outdoors. She is also proud to be one of the best plasterers in the area and running her own business for 20 years.
