Ashley

Ashley earned her vet tech certification through St. Petersburg College, where she also received a Certification of Excellence in anesthesia. Since she was about 8 years old, she knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field. Steve Irwin inspired her, and today, her love for animals has only grown stronger. Ashley’s favorite aspects of her job include having a great team to work with, interacting with her patients, and giving pet owners the help they need to care for their companions. It is also rewarding to be able to use her knowledge to keep pets healthy and put her best effort into healing sick or injured pets. She loves helping animals and people live happy, healthy lives. Ashley wouldn’t trade her job for anything!

At home, Ashley has a wonderful, supportive family, including a bunch of unique and adorable pets: Marina, a Border Collie mix; Bobber and Barnacle, both Pomeranians; Goose, a green cheek conure; Tiki, a crested gecko; Barry, a Cape parrot; Paul, a slider turtle; Mufasa, a ball python; Bazooka, a corn snake; and (last but not least), Cricket the Chinchilla. In her free time, Ashley enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, drawing, and painting.
