Jillian-Joy
Veterinary Technician, Urgent Care
Jillian-Joy is currently pursuing her Associate of Arts in Science with the goal of becoming a certified veterinary technician. She is also CPR trained, adding an extra layer of preparedness to the care she provides.
Jillian-Joy’s path into veterinary medicine is deeply personal. She has loved animals since childhood and always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. After experiencing the loss of her husband, she moved to Florida with her three children and made the decision to follow that dream. She began her journey as a kennel technician and has steadily grown into her current role through determination and hard work.
At the clinic, Jillian-Joy finds meaning in watching patients improve with treatment and regain their energy. She particularly enjoys performing blood draws and takes pride in developing her technical skills. Providing care after hours is especially rewarding for her, as it allows her to support pets and their families when they need it most.
