Cristin Rieskamp

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Rieskamp discovered her passion for veterinary medicine early in life, which led her to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. She proudly graduated in 2019, and after a few more winters than she cared for, decided to trade snow boots for flip-flops. In 2021, she made the sunny move to the Sarasota/Bradenton area, where she now happily calls home.

Dr. Rieskamp has a strong professional interest in soft tissue surgery, preventive medicine, and client education. She believes that building trusting relationships with pet owners and empowering them with knowledge is just as important as the medicine itself. Her thoughtful, compassionate approach helps ensure that every patient receives personalized care that supports their long-term health and wellbeing.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Rieskamp is always on the go. Whether she’s lifting weights at the gym, out on the water soaking up the Florida sunshine, or spending quality time with her beloved pets—one dog and four cats—she brings energy and enthusiasm to everything she does.
