Jessie

Jessie has loved animals since childhood, when her curiosity about nature inspired her to try helping an injured lizard. That early spark grew into a career in veterinary medicine, and she completed her technician training at Pima Medical Institute in 2014.

At Parrish Veterinary Clinic, Jessie values the supportive, team-focused environment and takes pride in being an advocate for animals. She finds fulfillment in knowing patients receive the care they need, which is sometimes life-saving, and in helping strengthen the bond between pets and their families.

A San Diego native and the oldest of three siblings, Jessie now shares her home with her pets: Dale, a Shih Tzu with one tooth; Liz, a rescued bearded dragon; Olivia, a calico cat with a lazy eye and a dog-like personality; and Bob, a uromastyx lizard.

Outside of work, Jessie enjoys exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, spending time with friends at the beach or pool, and relaxing with her dog. She is especially proud of unique career moments, such as performing a custom procedure on a hedgehog and obtaining blood from a snake, milestones that highlight her skill and dedication.
