Josie

Josie grew up surrounded by animals and developed a love for veterinary medicine at an early age, inspired by her mother, who also works in the field. She holds CPR certifications for canines and felines. Josie enjoys working directly with animals, learning new skills, and being part of a team that cares deeply about their patients. One of her favorite aspects of working at Parrish Veterinary Clinic is seeing the dedication everyone brings to keeping pets healthy.

Coming from a family of animal lovers, Josie has plenty of pets at home, including dogs, cats, goats, cows, a pig, a bird, and a lizard. Among them are Doc, a Red Heeler; Honey, a Chihuahua-Poodle mix; Remi, a mini American Shepherd; and a cat named Squishey.

Outside of work, Josie enjoys reading fantasy romance novels, listening to music, playing video games, and helping train youth through 4-H. She spent 13 years participating in 4-H youth development programs, an experience that helped strengthen her passion for working with animals.
