Kellie
Kellie is a Florida native, and she grew up in the country surrounded by animals. They became a fixture in her life, with her raising animals for 4-H or FFA, raising food animals for her family, and raising pets. She has been a part of the veterinary field since 1998. Kellie has an AA in wildlife technology and an AA in forest ecology, and she was voted FVMA team member of the year in 2020. She loves building long-lasting relationships with her clients and patients based on a foundation of trust and understanding. One of the most rewarding aspects of her role is helping other technicians develop strong skills and a good work ethic so they can grow their love and passion for the veterinary field.
Kellie has a virtual menagerie of pets at home: five dogs (four rescues and a retired senior police K9), one cat, a crested gecko, two mini zebus, beef cattle, two pigs, a goat, and one horse. In her free time, Kellie is a 4-H leader for a youth dog club and a fire commissioner for Duette. She also loves going to cow shows with her daughter, doing anything outside, and hunting.
