Dr. Robin Sego was born and raised in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia but considers Sarasota, Florida to be her home. She graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with a joint degree in Biology and Psychology and from Temple University with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. She worked at Temple University and the University of Florida as a research assistant for 8 years and co-authored several research publications. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.
Dr. Sego moved to Sarasota in 2001 to be closer to her family and joined the team at Bee Ridge Veterinary Clinic at that time. She has a special interest in preventative medicine, internal medicine and dermatology, but the most rewarding aspect of her job is the relationships she has with the clients and their pets.
Dr. Sego lives in Myakka city with her husband, John, their horses, dogs, and a cockatiel. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, riding her horses, kayaking, and playing tennis.
