Sam
Dr. Pombo's Core Technician
Samantha began her journey right after high school as a kennel technician, steadily building her skills and confidence until she could step into any situation and provide steady, capable support. After spending time in clinical research to expand her knowledge of veterinary medicine, Samantha realized her heart was in hands-on patient care and returned to the clinic setting she loves.
Growing up in Parrish, Samantha was surrounded by animals from an early age and spent years showing swine and dairy cows through Future Farmers of America. That early connection shaped her path and continues to influence the care she provides today. She especially enjoys working closely with patients, helping them feel more comfortable, and supporting pet owners through each visit with clear, compassionate guidance.
At home, Samantha shares her life with a lively group of rescued pets, including her dog Chief, four cats—Timber, Blossom, Iris, and Bruni—and a leopard gecko. Many of her cats started as strays and now enjoy a much more pampered life. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, baking, riding motorcycles, and spending time outdoors.
