Tonya

Tonya brings a strong medical background and a genuine love for animals to her role at Parrish Veterinary Clinic. She earned her LPN degree through Sarasota VoTech before a career shift led her from human medicine to veterinary care in 2018. Since then, she has found fulfillment in supporting pets and the people who love them.

Tonya values the relationships she builds each day, from welcoming clients at the front desk to working alongside a collaborative, encouraging team. She enjoys being part of a practice that supports the local community and works together to provide thoughtful, attentive care.

A Sarasota native, Tonya proudly calls Florida home. She is married and a mom to two daughters, ages 25 and 27, who helped spark her appreciation for animals. At home, she shares her life with two rescued dogs, Maggie Mae, an 8-year-old Ridgeback mix, and Marley, a 2½-year-old Kelpie mix. Outside of work, Tonya enjoys reading and crafting.
